Guinea Pigs originally come from South America.
In Peru and Bolivia, they breed them for meat.
When a Guinea Pig is born, they already have hair and their eyes are open.
A Guinea Pig can eat solid food at only one day old.
A Guinea Pig can be bred at 3 weeks old.
Guinea Pigs are usually very shy.
If you have a pet Guinea Pig, you should give it Vitamin C everyday.
Without Vitamin C, a Guinea Pig can get scurvy.

if you have an indoor guinea pig, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT! try to convert it to an outdoor guinea pig. It will die.
