With such powerful antioxidants, green tea has been proven to help the body fight against the agents that mutate cells, and cause you to get sick. There are many proven health benefits of green tea, and the following paragraphs will discuss some of them.

There is a substance in green tea called L-theaninie that will increase normal output of virus battling interferon. Gargling with the gree tea coats membranes and neutralizes any flu virus. This is important because raised heart rates can lead to cardiac problems.
