Fact about the Human Lip

The lips are an important part of the human anatomy. They assist us in speech, kissing, facial expressions and drinking through a straw.
Lips allow newborn babies to suckle at their mother’s breast for nourishment.
In today’s society and throughout history, the lips have been used to enhance beauty. Early societies adorned their lips with ornaments in order to look beautiful. Today, lipstick and lip gloss are used to accent the lips of females. Full lips are known to attract members of the opposite sex.
If proper etiquette is used, the human lips are kept closed when chewing food.
